Arbol salsa/hot sauce

This stuff is so awesome for chip dipping and pouring on tacos. Good amount of heat and flavor and never gets old.

  1. – 2lbs Roma Tomatoes
    – 20gr Arbol
    – 20gr Guajillo (deseeded)
    – 6 Garlic cloves
    – salt to taste

    Lightly toast the peppers until fragrant, transfer to pot of water, bring to a boil then turn off and let sit for 20min. Toast the garlic with skin on, skin just peels right off after. Char the tomatoes.

    Transfer everything to a blender with 1cup water or 1:1 water and apple cider vinegar. Blend until smooth.
