GREEN CHILI BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 🌶🍳🧀
(Makes 6 Servings: Each Serving is 1/6 of the Casserole)

Ingredients:
-1 lb Turkey Sausage (454g)
-6 Large Eggs (300g)
-2 Cups Liquid Egg Whites (480g)
-1 Cup Low-Fat Cottage Cheese (250g)
-2 Cups Reduced-Fat Mexican Style Cheese, Shredded (226g)
-8 oz Center Cut Bacon (226g raw)
-1 (4 oz) Can Diced Green Chilies (115g)
-1 Medium Yellow Onion, Diced (150g)
-1 Red Bell Pepper, Diced (150g)
-1 tsp Salt
-1 tsp Black Pepper
-1 tsp Garlic Powder
-1 tsp Chili Powder

Instructions:
1.) Preheat oven to 375°F; grease dish.
2.) Cook bacon; set aside. Cook sausage, onion + pepper; cool slightly.
3.) Whisk eggs, egg whites, cottage cheese + seasonings; mix in meat, bacon, chilies, and 1.5 cups cheese.
4.) Pour into dish, top with remaining cheese.
5.) Bake 35–45 min until set.
6.) Slice into 6; store or freeze and reheat.

  2. Thank you for this useful recipe and in all seriousness for keeping your shirt on while you were cooking. Always wear proper clothing when cooking food.

  3. Minor but Why don’t you blend everything liquid then just add everything in the casserole dish and two turns of the wrist & wisk, and let it cook?
