The plant is also much taller than a typical bird chili at around 4-5ft tall
Looks healthy to me.
Yup. They look perfect and yes it is normal. It’s a natural product. Nature is funny that way. Take a look at tomatoes or carrots

My Kristian thai chilis look just like this, but then they turn bright yellow when ripe.
