Yeast Failure or Impatience


Hello!

My second attempt in making conchas but my dough hasn’t proofed (it’s been a couple of hours now). The recipe only mentioned that I add Dry Yeast so I added Fast Rising Instant Dry Yeast but still not seeing any change. I’ve covered it with a damp towel and plastic wrap before that so idk what to do at this point. Is there any way to fix it? I do have Active Dry Yeast on hand but idk if I just need to wait more?
