Did up some more Buldak extra spicy ramen today. Went with a few dashes of this Sassy Texan hot sauce I just recently grabbed from a hot sauce spot in St. Augustine FL. while traveling, and dang, it's fuckin great! It's apple cider vinegar based, with chiltepin and limo peppers for some heat. I was pleasantly surprised to see chiltepin because I think they're a super underated/utilized pepper and I never see it in sauces hardly, the limo peppers are semi unknown to me, I've never really tried it or seen/heard much about them but whatever it's doing in this sauce, it absolutely works. The sauce also has dates in it, which would usually turn me off, but I bought it before I read that listed, and I'm glad I did, because it's not sweet at all. interesting, and very tasty sauce, 7-10 would recommend for any dish youd want that mustardy ish spicy kick.
