We are beginners and I think got lucky last season planting before Memorial Day. It got real cold last night, our jalapeños and ancho now look like this… you reckon they’ll perk up…. Or do I need to go get new ones …?

From my experience they can handle a day or two in the 40s (F) but if it dips down into freezing it is unlikely they will recover. 🙁
This one looks mostly dry/thirsty though. Be careful watering too much if it’s going to get cold again!
