11 year old infusion, what to do?

Hi sauce lovers,

this bottle of (I assume) mixed peppers and white vinegar was started by my late partner and it's been sitting in a dark cabinet since April 25, 2015.

I never dared to touch it because feelings, but curiosity gets the better of me. Could this still be turned into a hot sauce? Should I leave it untouched as a time capsule and tangible memory or should I dispose of something that might already be a hazard? How can I determine if the contents are viable or not?
